Sir,

Shipment of various materials such as biopsy specimen, vials, and slides to distant locations has always been a problem, especially in resource-poor settings where the need for such exercise arises very often. We have found that the readily available thermocol packs used for marketing some brands of topical steroids in India are a readily available and durable mechanism to enclose the materials [Figure 1]. Various things such as vials, vacutainers, and even slides can be transported this way if needed to take a second opinion or the like [Figure 2]. The advantage is its readily available, free of cost, and more sturdy to prevent the damage in transit when sent through the post or courier.
